Conference — 21 October 2019
Riccardo Tonello (ESR 15) presented his current work at the GDR-APPAMAT workshop in the 27th Color Imaging Conference 2019, Paris, France. He talked about the concept of DLP printing which uses the grey-scale values method, that enables to remove some of the artifacts due to the resolution of the UVs projector. In addition to this, he also talked about continuous printing method that enables to obtain layer-less prints. The challenge of this project is to try to adapt the grey-scale values method to a continuous printing system, in order to obtain 3D objects with no artifact and, in addition, provide with a pattern and appearance that is needed.
