Background

Daniel completed his Bachelor in Electrical Engineering at Federal University of Campina Grande in 2018 and a Master's in Computer Engineering at University of Campinas in 2021. His areas of interest are signal processing, medical imaging, computer graphics, and visualization. In his bachelor's degree, he worked in the field of image processing on fingerprint recognition. In his Master's, he worked in the area of diffusion MRI and proposed a scalable rendering algorithm that maps high order tensors in glyphs.

Aspirations within projects

Daniel would like to put in to practice the knowledge in image processing, machine learning and geometry processing and apply them on the 3D printing and do cutting-edge research in the area. Additionally, he wants to gain the scientific and technical knowledge to be an independent researcher, and develop a network with the industry in the 3D printing area.
